Attention: FPV DRONE FLYING DAYS on the runway are 1st Saturday and 3rd Sunday of each month
Multi-rotor flying only on the runway area until 1 p.m. on these days in 2026
5/2, 5/17, 6/6, 6/21 etc.

Note that drone flying is allowed at all times
but gates are only allowed on the runway on these specific dates.
Low altitude small drone flying and gates are allowed in the side fields almost anytime.

About Us
The Middlesex County R-C Fliers, Inc. is a non-profit social organization chartered for the enjoyment and promotion of radio controlled model aircraft building and flying. Please see our Information Brochure. The club operates a flying field located on Treble Cove Road, in Billerica, Massachusetts. Use of the flying field requires club membership. New members (including experienced flyers) must be certified before solo flying at the field.
Training
The club's volunteer instructors can provide free flight training to any current member. Club membership requires current membership in the Academy of Model Aeronautics, which is the national organization supporting the sport and hobby of aeromodelling.
Meetings
Regular business meetings are typically held at 6:00 p.m. on the second Wednesday of January, April, July, and October. Casual and special meetings are held as needed. All meetings are announced via email notifications to members, and on this website. Unless otherwise specified, meetings are held at the Howe School Building, 390 Boston Road in Billerica.
